My experience working with Patrick and the Neighborgrid brand has been nothing but great. Ever since we started Vending at their Geneva location we have been able to expand and grow our own business and really get a feel for the in person selling part that you don't really get from selling digitally. Patrick and his wife Anyssa are amazing people to work with and are always there to lend a helping hand when needed. I applaud their commitment and effort to making sure that all their vendors do well for themselves in their shop. Although it may seem daunting at first, vending at a local spot can have its benefits such as building a relationship with the local community who may love your curations and also networking with local vendors and curators who have much to offer as well. You also get the feel for how to run and maintain a shop which can come in handy later in your career as a curator. My advice to those thinking about vending at Neighbrosgrid collective would be to give it a shot, with the right mindset and attitude I am sure you can find some kind of success just like we have.

Neighborsgrid collective has given me the opportunity to have my own space in a store front, without the need to commit to any type of long term lease. It’s the perfect way to curate your own collection the way you want and watch the sales pop up on your phone throughout the week, without needing to be there. The insights are also helpful showing me what’s selling and what’s not working. It’s a great opportunity to grow and learn with a team of driven like minded people!

I have been with Neighborsgrid collective for a few months now and I am glad I did. With how fast life has been moving for me, markets were unfortunately not a sustainable option anymore—so I I had to turn to selling through third party apps such as Instagram and eBay. Patrick gave me an opportunity to sell my merchandise through a store front, which I think is more beneficial to the buyer as they are able to touch, feel, and try on the cool finds we have available. Once you figure out how the system for pricing and listing works, it really is a convenient and easy way to sell your vintage goods.
